Gabriel Lee, Hong Kong's referee representative at the 6th Women's Rugby World Cup in Guildford, UK has completed her first refereeing duty on Tuesday, 24th August in the game Canada vs Sweden, with the Canadians romping away to a 40-5 win.

Gabriel had her hands full with penalties flowing in both directions, often and the Canadians losing two players to the sin-bin in the second half. After running touch as an Assistant Referee on the first day of play (20th August), Gabriel was in-charge as an AR for two important games on the 3rd day of play (Saturday, 28th August) at the Surrey Sports Park when Australia thrashed South Africa (63-0) and England defeated the USA in a close game.

The finals of the WRWC will be held at the Twickenham Stoop ground in London on 5th September.

Gabby has been appointed to two Assistant Refereeing jobs on Day 4 (semi-finals) this Wednesday in Guildford:-

South Africa vs Kazakhstan

Canada vs Scotland

Her refereeing appointment on Day 5 (finals) has yet to be announced.

England play Australia and New Zealand play Ireland in the fight for a top placed final's fight out on September 5th.
