Notice is here-by given under the Constitution of the Hong Kong Society of Rugby Football Union Referees, that the Annual General Meeting

(season 2007/08) will be held at the Police Officer's Club ('Reading Room') in Causeway Bay starting at 7:00pm and will include the following

business:-

* Approve Annual Reports from the President, CAB and RDO on the season just ended;
* Approve either provisional or audited accounts from the Treasurer for the financial year ended 30 April 2008;
* Elect the members of the EXCOM for the ensuing year;
* Dispatch any other business of which notice shall be given by any member to the President or Secretary.
 
The AGENDA for the AGM will be:-

1 Apologies for absence
2 Approve the Minutes of the AGM Meeting held 29 May 2007
3 Matters arising
4 President's Report
5 CAB Report
6 RDO's Report
7 Treasurer's Report and Approval of (either provisional or audited) accounts for 07/08 
8 Elect Officers of the Committee
9 Any Other Business

Peter Tann (as Treasurer)
Ken Reed (as Fixtures Secretary)
Michael Chan (as Ex Officio Member)
John Findlay (as Ex Officio Member)
Kelvin Kwong (as Ex Officio Member)

I hereby call for nominations for membership of the Executive Committee.

If you wish to be nominated, please adhere to the following instructions:-
 
1. Members wishing to be nominated must be Full members of the HKSRFUR.
2. Your nomination must be 'proposed' and 'seconded' by Full members of the HKSRFUR, completed on the attached form and sent to me by 

 mid-night, Sunday, 11 May 2008 to the following e-address:- bernard.fienberg@hkrugby.com
3. You are not permitted to propose yourself.

A list of all nominees will be sent by me, along with a voting form and the final Agenda on Sunday, 18 May 2008.

If you wish to raise an item of Any Other Business at the AGM, please give notice to the President (Dougie Shearer), either by e-mail 

at scotland_yardie@hotmail.com or  verbally prior to the start of the meeting. In addition, the Chairman of the meeting may, at his sole d

iscretion, accept items of any other business arising from discussion during the meeting.
